OUR COVER THIS MONTH

Despite increased awareness, Legionella is still very much present — and abundant — in today’s buildings. Aging infrastructure, construction and renovation as well as increasing use of low-flow fixtures and the aging population all play a part in the increasing numbers of Legionnaires’ disease. However, proper plumbing system design and implementing water management programs can help mitigate bacteria growth and improve building health and safety.
