Ideal for large commercial applications, the Cyclone XL commercial gas water heater operates at 1,000,000 Btu/h, with an additional 750,000 Btu/h model available. Its ability to adjust the firing rate to meet demand further increases efficiency and cost savings. Cyclone XL features a unique dual stainless-steel heat exchange system, providing a two-step heat transfer process that delivers thermal efficiency of 97%. It also works seamlessly with the A.O. Smith iCOMM connectivity platform, which provides remote monitoring, control of the set point and differential, and run history for each connected unit.

The Infiniti GS and GR condensing tankless water heaters feature a stainless-steel heat exchanger. With high-temperature settings, cascade operation, common venting and an optional commercial rack system, they can be installed indoors or outdoors. The Infiniti tankless water heaters have been certified by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), the leading voice within the Green Restaurant movement. They also both meet or exceed the latest ENERGY STAR requirements and qualify for most utility rebate programs.

ProSeries XTP tankless electric water heaters are designed for applications that require superior thermal performance and stability. Using breakthrough Adaptive Stability Technology, ProSeries XTP models provide exact thermal performance in demanding conditions, the company says. ProSeries XTP is an ideal solution for diverse commercial and industrial applications requiring water temperatures up to 180° F and specified flow rates from 0.5 to 20 gpm. The units range in power from 16 to 54 kW and operate on three-phase delta power. The family is comprised of 10 models in either three or six heating chamber configurations.

Commercial tankless heat pump water heater
Intellihot introduces the Electron tankless heat pump water heaters, the first such technology for commercial applications, the company says. The Electron combines the efficiency of heat pump technology, the water safety and on-demand features of tankless, with the compliance of CO2 refrigerant paired with a specially designed thermal battery. Models include the iE1, an integrated unit with a thermal battery that can be installed indoors or outdoors; and the iE6, a larger unit that installs outdoors and pairs with the iB3, an indoor thermal battery.

Laars Commercial Electric Tankless Water Heaters, Powered by Keltech, are available in four different models and configurations for commercial and light industrial use. Features include a PID infinitely modulating control which holds temperature as demand changes; Incoloy 800 low-watt density elements that enhance durability, heat transfer and resistance to scaling; low water flow activation; low water pressure drop; brass/copper heat exchangers that are NSF/ANSI 372 certified for lead-free; and space saving size, with only three-square feet of space needed for 144 kW (491,000 Btu/h).

The updated line of ARMOR Condensing Water Heaters is available in a total of 10 models, ranging from 399,000 to 4 million Btu/h. These models are constructed with superior-grade 316L stainless steel, which reduces heat loss and provides up to 99% thermal efficiency and reliability for large commercial applications, the company says. The line features a 10:1 turndown ratio on models 399,000 through 999,000 and a 5:1 turndown ratio on models 1,250,000 through 4,000,000 Btu/h.

Lync by Watts’ Element Q is a complete domestic hot water solution with high-efficiency water heating, multi-barrier pathogen mitigation and water quality treatment in a single-sourced, certified smart appliance. It provides safe, reliable, hot water, energy and water efficiency, and improved water quality, the company states. The solution sustainably mitigates waterborne pathogens, such as Legionella, reduces risks of scalding, and aids in full building sanitation. Element Q is an ultra-compact, fully designed and assembled system that reduces a typical mechanical room footprint by up to 75% and shortens installation time by up to 65%, the company says.

Direct-fired domestic water heater
The new PVI 1600 MBH Centurion compact, direct-fired domestic water heaters can underpin ESG initiatives. Centurion water heaters deliver up to 99% thermal efficiency and offer O2 Trim, which allows the unit to self-adjust and maintain optimal air/fuel rations for peak efficiency, as well as low emissions and maximum uptime reliability, the company says. Energy efficiency is further achieved via a dedicated hot water re-circulation connection and the advanced Edge Controller. Precise temperature control of ±4° F is achieved through dynamic feed-forward sensing. The compact Centurion occupies up to 65% less footprint than competing models, the company says.
